Blackhall & Peterlee

Are you under the age of 25?

Do you avoid coming to see a GP?

Do you know what services we can offer for you?

Do you know that even if you are under the age of 25 we will not share your information with anyone?

Did you know you can bring a friend along with you to see us?

You can be sure that anything you discuss with any member of the practice, doctor, nurse or receptionist, will stay confidential. Even if you are under 16 nothing will be said to anyone, including parents, other family members, care workers or tutors, without your permission.

The only reason why we might have to consider passing on confidential information without your permission, would be to protect you or someone else from serious harm. We would always try to discuss this with you first.

Chlamydia Testing

Want to get tested but don't want to see anyone – don't worry just drop in and pick up a urine testing kit. All the instructions come with the kit and you send them off direct to be tested and get the results back direct to you, by text if you wish. No one needs know you have had the test done.

If you'd rather see someone you can book an appointment like any of our other patients and again bring a friend along with you.

We can help you with some of the following:

  • Stopping smoking
  • Weight Management
  • Contraceptive advice
  • General Health advice
  • Confused about your sexuality?
